December 1914, a German soldier leaves his poor little trench holding a Christmas tree in a field devastated and returned, where the mud, cold, fear and death have long made their neighborhoods. This is the famous Christmas truce, the unique moment when the fighting stops and the men closer. Unfortunately this incredible initiative but human soldiers is not at all appreciated by the Staff and it will not happen again throughout the Great War.
